Multi-Mode Digital Portable Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Multi-mode: Pulse-Echo mode and Echo-Echo mode
We Offer a multi-mode ultrasonic thickness gauge. Based on the same operating principles as SONAR, the instrument is capable of measuring the thickness of various materials with accuracy as high as 0.1/0.01 millimeters.
The multi-mode feature of the gauge allows the user to toggle between pulse-echo mode (flaw and pit detection), and echo-echo mode (eliminate paint or coating thickness).
- Multi-mode: Pulse-Echo mode and Echo-Echo mode.
- Capable of performing measurements on a wide range of material, including metals, plastic, ceramics, composites, epoxies, glass and other ultrasonic wave well-conductive materials.

The Digital Surface Profile Gauge will allow the peak to valley height of blast cleaned surfaces to be accurately measured in accordance with the ASTM standard. Caltech’s digital surface profile gauge is highly useful and users friendly tool for paint, coating, and corrosion inspection.
The gauge is initially set to zero with the glass zero plate and the foot is then placed on the blasted profile. The foot sits on top of the peaks and the sharp stylus travels to the bottom of the valley, allowing the gauge to display the peak to valley height. A number of measurement can be made and the average is taken
In addition, the gauge can also be used to measure the effects of corrosion i.e. pitting and cavity depth etc. The instrument is supplied with a calibration certificate traceable to national standards. Easy to use by any operator with single keypad operation and automatic switch off when no reading is being taken. The instrument is highly popular and used by powder coating applicators, fabrication industries. Coatem-NF coating thickness gauges utilize this non-destructive priciple when measuring coatings on non-magnetic substrates such as aluminum, aluminum alloys, bronze, copper, brass tin and rustproof weak magnetic steels. The coatings must be electrically insulating such as; paint, enamel, plastics, anodized coatings, metal spray, powder coating and ceramics etc.
Coatem-NF digital coating thickness meter is available with a constant pressure and detachable flexible probe. The flexible probe is capable of measuring intermittently on hot work and all nearby locations including critical compnents. Shape of components does not matter.

The Testex Snap Gauge is used for the measurement of the surface profile after blasting when taken with Testex Tape / Replica Tape / Press-O-Film.
Testex Tape or Press O Film offers a simple and very accurate method of measuring blasted profiles. It can produce virtually exact replicas of the blasted surface profile, which can be measured using a snap gauge.
Hand Held simple operation. Place the Testex film firmly on the blasted surface, apply moderate pressure with the burnishing tool, the replica has now been taken and can be measured using the textex snap gage. Highly useful tool for measurements and used for pipeline & coating inspection.
Complies with ASTM, NACE and SSPC methods of measurement.
The Press-O-Film snap gauge can also be used as a micrometer for checking calibration test pieces and also thickness of flakes of paint.
